Please consider the following scenarios when making your decision.
Scenario #1
You are on the road travelling when you decide to pick up a few supplies before continuing. Upon observation, you enter an establishment that appears to have everything you, as a customer, would expect. It has clean floors, organized products on the shelves, beautiful decor, and pleasant sounding music to enhance your shopping experience. Once you have selected your items, you walk towards the counter to pay, when you realize that you have yet to see an employee. You look around and wonder where is everyone. Time passes and you begin to question why it is taking so long. Feeling neglected, you look around one last time and notice someone slowly walking towards you. You smile and greet them, but they do not reciprocate. Feeling a little uncomfortable with their lack of interest in you as a paying customer, you find yourself counting down the seconds until you can leave. Once out of the establishment, you make a promise to yourself to never go there again.

Scenario #2
Management teams and individual staff members no longer respect or trust each other to get the job done. No one appears to be interested in taking responsibility or being accountable for their actions in relation to their specific job duties. Interoffice communication is all but non-existent as office morale continues to slide. Workplace stress is at an ultimate high, and staff turnaround combined with staff shortages has left overworked and undervalued staff members feeling extremely frustrated, physically exhausted and emotionally drained. Production levels have dropped significantly and nothing appears to be moving forward.

Scenario #3
After years of hard work and dedication, you have been given the opportunity to take on a leadership role. Uncertain as to how you are going to navigate the additional responsibilities, you just learned that you will be managing some of your former co-workers, people you have known for years, and consider as friends. Feeling a little overwhelmed you decide it is time to learn how to become an influential leader so you can make a positive difference for those who depend on you to be exceptional.
