Living room area for families
Programming
We provide individualized programming for children Pre-K to Grade 6 (ages 4 - 12) with a focus on the growth of the whole person.
Our programming emphasizes hands-on exploration using creative play, storytelling, and artistic expression to develop critical thinking skills.
Children are given the opportunity to navigate everyday situations that may at times appear challenging. During this process, they will develop their sense of resiliency, as they develop their problem-solving abilities.
Looking for ways to engage our students in activities that support continued socio-emotional learning, we celebrate the process of learning and the little steps along the way.
To ensure we remain accountable to you and your loved ones, we provide grade level assessments as a way to measure your child’s educational growth. Grade level assessments typically take place during a regular tutoring session, so areas requiring additional support are highlighted.
For children preparing for kindergarten, we offer readiness programs using games and activities, so early learners can experience a smoother transition into a more structured learning environment.
Environment and Space
In the HOWse Consulting acknowledges that both parents and teachers have a shared responsibility to educate today’s children. As a result, we offer a ‘back to the basics approach’, that includes a technology-free environment and educational learning space.
Understanding the importance of collaborative strategies, parents have an opportunity to relax in our cozy living room, as a way to unplug from the noises that demand their immediate attention. We offer this to our parents because we believe that it is necessary for all of us, to enjoy a few minutes of quiet, throughout the day.
Our hope is that children and their parents will feel at home and cared for, In the HOWse.
